Banners
Here are some of the banners that I produced for the Manchester University Film Society
For our recruitment drive I produced this 15 foot long banner.
It proved to be part of a highly effective campaign.
The complicated Union and award logos took some time to complete.
The one produced the year before was Filmspotting in the Trainspotting style. By the time the design was used at the start of term it was no longer very original, as the film had influenced other designs in advertising.
Another society I was involved with requested a smaller banner with the name clearly painted in a nice black font on green background. This was used during the second recruitment period and also looked good.
All the banners I produced at this time were acrylic paint on plastic sheeting.
The time taken to produce is fairly dependent on the amount of edge to paint and
hence the number of words.
This was produced for a drugs awareness film show.
