Model painting
I started drawing from space fantasy illustrations.
Then I tried out my first painting was using my acrylic model paints.
I have painted a range of miniature Citadel models.
This is the only natural history model I have tried:-
It is an Airfix Little Owl that I had to use a bit of modelling putty on to fix the gaps and ridge the down the back.
I am quite proud of it really, the Games Workshop painting techniques worked nicely.
I did approach one of the resin model companies for a blank of one of their superbly
modelled pieces, but they are only sold as painted articles.
